The Nov 25 episode of Overhaulin'TV from BCII will be about a 1967 Firebird build, they are using ia 550hp Lingenfelter Performance Engineering crate engine, and Mike Copeland from Lingenfelter spent a week working on the car.
Should be a good show that would interest your followers.

I've not seen this show before, I guess my cable package doesn't handle it maybe. Anyhow, what's up with the sledge hammer and ball bat to the windshield? I generally don't watch these "fix-it" and "flip it" shows because of crap like that. Cal

It's a poorly scripted put-on Kalifornized Foose selling his wheels Brady family TV show alright. Basically they take a call ins car, act like they stole it, take it apart, Foose the bumpers, toss on some hooptie Foose wheels, make a presentation where they make the Overhauled winner cry and then scream at the end. I really like Foose's work but good lord this has been played out far far faaaarrrrr tooo long.

Over 100 episodes. I do like Arianny Celeste as long as she isn't punching anyone.
I'm getting over the whole genre as Cal suggested above.

The last show of this type that I actually watched was last summer. Some guy goes around and buys up an old car/truck - does a quick paint job and takes it from CA to TX to sell. In that particular episode he had gotten a late 60's Chevy pickup. And through out the show gloated about how the guy had to sell the truck and what a killer deal he had gotten. Really - glad you got a good deal, but to gloat on TV of someone else's misfortune just don't sit well with me. Cal
Saw the Firebird episode last night. Not that bad a build but I didn't care for the red LS engine. Typical Foose took the gas door out, IMO that's one of the things that make the 67-68 unique. Change the 67 doors to 68's, ok with that, I never cared for the 67 vent window. It was a $50,000+ Pro Tour build all the way, only thing original left was the hood, roof, trunk and floor pans, re-pop, aftermarket or custom on everything else.
Wanting a Custom fit in an off the rack world.
I don't have time for a job, I just need the money.
I often wonder if there's any sort of recon done by the family in advance of the show planners committing to taking on the car. Do they first find out if the car owner would actually like to have their car "Foosed"?
If I had my 68 modified that much, my first reaction would be "What the f__k did you do to my car???".

Only if I had a Chebby that was a basket case would I be okay with it.

Right there with you.
If my car were taken without my knowledge and it was Fooked .... you'd find another episode of me beating his b!tch [censored] and forcing him to put it back. Wife has asked and I have explained at length multiple times that nobody touches my car, ever.

Be careful his new spokesmodel with the aftermarket parts likes to throw down...
