Hi! It's been a long time since I was active in the website. I had been involved in the 2000 area. I live in Pflugerville, TX (suburb of Austin, TX). Way back when I had met with the local owners of first gen Firebirds. I had even sold my first Firebird to someone here locally so my first Firebird may still be somewhere lurking on the site.
My firebird had sat pretty idle through the 2000s. It is mostly original 350 2 bbl car. I had really struggled with decision of doing any upgrades to a car that was so original but I got to drive it during the COVID quarantine since the roads were so empty. I finally decided that safety is more important than originality so I am just finishing up an upgrade from 4 wheel/non-power brakes to powered disk brakes in front. The suspension was all just completely rebuilt and I got to drive the car for first time since those projects today.
The picture is really old but since it's been so reliable and it's still pretty much like it was in this photo.
