have a part color matched. i think its semi gloss. i painted mine with a base and polished it out so it has the semi gloss color i wanted. it turned out great. here is an old photo
Yes, semigloss. Most of the Pontiac repro parts places sell interior paints that work well. You will be looking for a lacquer for hard surfaces (such as metal) as opposed to the vinyl dyes for soft parts.

I know this may sound funny,but a local restoration shop turned me onto a great match for the original GM black,you can get it at an local Case/IH implement dealer its simply called case/ih NON-GLARE black,it's an enamel paint available in spray bomb or quart
