Once again, because there is SOOOO much information on this site, I have a hard time finding what I am looking for. I know I have seen it here before but now cannot seem to find it.
Can someone please point me in the right direction? I believe there are 3 ground straps for the engine-to-body, correct? I believe one is located on the lower left firewall which I believe connects to the frame. Where do the other 2 ground straps go? I have the end of a ground strap attached to my upper left-center firewall and would guess that it actually attaches to the engine somewhere, but I dont have the other end of that strap to see where it would go. It would appear that all of my engine-to-body ground straps are broken or gone completely. I have new ones but am not sure where they go.
the only ground strap is on the firewall to the back of the engine block. it is bolted to the back of the head on the passenger side, the fire wall locsation is close by.

That is not correct.
There is one strap on the drivers side back of head to the body (firewall). There is also one on the passenger side that is a two piece unit. One connects from the manifold to the frame and than from the same frame location to the body (firewall). Can't remember for sure on the last one, but I believe it is a body to frame connection.

I've only ever run across two. One from the rear of the pass head to the firewall. The second one snapped off when I pulled the subframe out from under the body. It connects from the lower pass side of the firewall(near the access hole for the body bolt) and adjacent to the inside of the frame rail. Seems like I may have seen one attached to the steering box at some point but can't say it was original. If I were to guess where a third one would be attached I would say from the rad support to the frame rail because your headlights ground to that. There was a third strap in the new package but I never figured out for sure where it was supposed to go.
Both my '69 and '68 have firewall to passenger head rear, and right subframe rail to firewall. I have seen references to a driver's side strap but have not seen an original as yet. See the service manual for illustrations for your year.

Thanks for the photos... I understand the passenger side straps now. I knew of the one from the frame to the firewall but did not have the reference for the 2nd part which is the head to the frame.
On your second picture, was that taken from under the car looking up? I think I understand where it goes if that is the vantage point of the photo.. I will check when I get home tonight, but that is was I am picturing in my head.
Anyway, that helps with the other 2 grounds then...
