Just as the title states. I'm in the market for a 68 bird. I would prefer a 400 and am not too worried about other options. Finding one in Texas would be nice, but I'm not sure what the chances are on that.
I really don't want to buy a car then have to send it straight to the paint shop. I'm looking for a nice driver.

I have a 68 HO 400 4 speed, numbers matching, (carb, alternator, water pump, distributor, carb, long branch manifolds) complete no rust 27,000 mile California Black plate car. Original paint, Bird glass. Shifter rebuilt and replated.
Needs paint, bumpers rechromed, engine assembled (was rebuilt in 2005, never fired)Comes with MANY NOS parts in boxes.
Interior perfect except carpet, dash and headliner (sun fade in desert)
