I talked it over with Jody , his girl friend , and she doesnt know how to handle the PayPal account...how about sending check or money order to her in her name, she`ll cash them and get it to Terry , she`ll first say she sold parts , then give him the real story about his friends helping out , here`s her story of how she`ll handle it: " i wont tell him anything ha ha then when the mail comes in ill say i sold things on ebay then when we cash the things ill say here this is from the firebird folks and then he cant give it back thank you "

Bjorn. I read the earlier post at work and got sidetracked by the punk who was bashing Terry over at py. Between my burning desire to rock and roll with the punk and my concern for Terry's health, I thought the same thing.
Because everyone hasn't bought stuff from Terry, I cannot say that Terry has helped everyone around here. One thing I can say about Terry is that he would help everyone around here out if they needed it, even new part buyers. He has a deal with a vendor--I won't name drop because I don't know whether or not it creates a professional conflict with the vendor he uses. If you need a part that is sold by the vendor, he can often match or beat the vendor's price, and have the part on your doorstep.
If he cannot beat the price, he'll tell you. After all, it's a no-brainer: Unlike the punk who doesn't have enough sense to see his severe lack of internal logic in his "complaint," Terry is bright enough to know that another person is bright enough so see vendor's part selling for a buck, whereas Terry's part is offered at a buck-twenty-five. The punk cannot fathom such concepts, but anyone with just a tad of intellegence can figure this one out.
Terry has contributed a lot to the perservation of the fgf. His singlehand contribution has provided more than everyone's technical advice/opinion combined. His contribution is providing parts that you just cannot get. I have been in the fgf for 30 years come this August. Even back in the dawn of my ownership of the fgf, lots of the "I-have-that-part" on Terry's shelf was wizzing in the wind as far as buying one.
Do what you can for Terry. A little here and there can make a difference.

Terry's still in ICU, but they will be moving him to a regular room. He's weak and tired, fading in and out, but feeling well enough to be his sometimes obnoxious self. His diet has been upgraded to include some semi-solids, which is good.
He's touched by the concern we've all shown him with our get-well messages. Jody will be online later with an update.

I finally made some adjustments on viewing the forums and topics to see more of them. It figures I would get in on this one late. Sorry to hear Terry health hasn't been good. Is there any further news?
My question is why anyone would be obloquies with Terry. He's always come through with those needed rare parts, at a VERY fair price and shipped them quickly. He even went out of his way to trade me a miss-purchased (by me) '67-8 lower air baffle for a '69 lower air baffle.
The person who did this injustice to Terry has only marked himself for ridicule. I'd like to give'em a bowl of raspberry to put it mildly.
I'll be tossing something in the pot for Terry after the first of the year, when things settle down financially for me.
Gosh Terry, I hope things are under control for ya. Do the doctors know what the cause of such a massive blood loss was? That's sounds awful scary.
