Spark Plugs on 1968 – #8 Plug Inaccessible
Short answer: The #8 plug on an A/C 1968 is just cramped (not necessarily an engine-mount problem). The best approach is to remove the right-front wheel and go in through the wheel well: break the plug loose with a wrench on a short plug socket, then back it out with a compact ratchet (a Snap-On 3/8″-drive in a 1/4″ body works well). Some do it from underneath instead.
