Throttle and Kickdown Hookup for 1969

Short answer: The TH350 kickdown cable snaps into a square hole on the carburetor side of the throttle bracket. You need the correct 4-bbl bracket with that square hole — a 2-bbl bracket leaves the cable about 3/4″ short, and the ~$80 reproduction brackets are for 1968 and don’t have the TH350 square hole. (If you find a 4-bbl cable-mount bracket with the TH350 hole, grab it.)
