All I wanted to do was replace the license plate bulb in my 68 Sprint so I removed the screws from the repop lens cover but there was not enough of a gap to get it out! Husband came out and worked with it and gave up. I removed the tag, loosened the bolts for the bracket and finally squeeeeezed the lamp assembly out. It looks like it may not go back in without removing the bumper. Any suggestions? I can't believe something so simple would be so hard.
