i agree with bj on the original thing.they are worth more original.i would not want a highly modified classic car unless i got it cheap enough to part out and make money
You wouldn't have to part out the altered car if it's done right. People pay big money for them all together. And I like to think about it like this; Say you've been fed spaghetti for a good portion of your life.(spaghetti=altered cars). Then you get a taste and ability to afford steak.(steak=numbers correct/unaltered cars). You eat just steak for years.... You will eventually want some spaghetti again. And if the spaghetti is good enough, you may want it a lot. But the big question is: What is chicken?
