I have the finished painted 400 hood under my storage platform, flat and covered. The RC flat hood is on the ends on cardboard for the moment. Probably get rid of it and get a glass one soon.

Got to tell on my old neighbor though. He had a Corvette Convertible with 327 and flat hood. He decided to add the 427 stinger hood as it does look better. Anyway we stashed his old hood under his house, (crawl space) wrapped and on blocks.
Several years past, he added a back porch to the house, a few other improvements, etc...
He eventually sold the house so I helped him pack his car stuff, that's when he realized his hood was still under the house and the new back porch covered the larger access doors. Oops!
We chisled out bricks on the small door to get just enough room to slide it out. It was either that or cut the hood.
