Sounds to me he bought the adapter from RARE not the housing. You need both, the adapter and the angled housing. If you look at my pics on my photobucket site you will see exactly what we are refering too.

I did the exact same thing. I hade the LB manifolds from RARE along with the adapter, however, I had the wrong oil filter housing. If you get the correct parts you will NOT need an oil filter relocator therefore it will look much cleaner/stock IMO...
