If memory serves me..You should have a 2 wire positive batttery cable with a fusable link..A 4 gauge main, and a smaller 14-16 gauge coming from battery positive.

I believe there is also another near the voltage regulator.

I will check tomorrow..Maybe check the wiring diagram in your Chilton or Haynes 67-79 Firebird manual..Great book to own!
