Thats exactly what I remembered from my old 68 camaro many years ago. The new POS cable has the smaller cable but no fused link. I am going to put one right off that line prior to it reaching that terminal you spoke of. I did NOT do that with the camaro, and this caused a very smokey, stinky, embarrassing moment at a four-way stop. The entire main POS wire melted down and all I could do was watch it go around. The fusible link should be one or two gages thinner than the line you are protecting, correct?
