If you have a 350 w th400 and its all original, you should have a HO, the th400 came on 400`s and 350 HO...
I have a 69 w 400 and th350...I dont have to push button to shift gears, just use it from park... and you`ll have that 'slap stick' system, you can manually shift down and up while pushing the shifter over to the right, (in the oval slot in the plastic cover...)thats the "his and her" shifter that came out in 69...and w./o pushing the button in the center
