I purchased a 69 quadrajet from Phil at custom rebuilt carbs also and guess what? I mounted it and fuel started gushing out of the air horn and plunger. I called him and sent it back for adjusting, got it back and the same thing fuel leaking all over the place on my $4,000 rebuilt 350 HO. Man I was mad. After speaking with Phil yet again it sounded like he didn't know what was happening and just tested the vaccum. Now he is building me a different 69 carb. All I can say is it better work this time.
