We just dumped 5 gallons of $4 gas into the lawn tractor for the second or third mowing of the season. And it's rained like hell several days, so when the monsoon stops, the grass getter eats another tank that really belongs in the bird.
Two heat pumps burnt down over the winter. The third got an ebay compressor two years ago but it needs to be replaced too. I'm swamped with crap going bad on a 1991 house, so the bird has taken back seat. That's why I've been missing a while. Money for the bird is gone to the heat pump Gods for this year. Thankfully, I can do them myself since I have EPA license to touch freons and I've done this work before.
We found a spare use for the engine crane. Would rather the 400 be hanging by chains and going back in.
If anyone in Maryland has a strong back, I have some heavy HVAC gear to be moved to the basement, attic and yard. One is nearly done. The other is more than my wife and I can lift.
It looks like my bird will be neglected this season for lack of time and money.
