John, Did you have any issues, either with the center link hitting the oil pan or concerns with the pitman arm? I've needed to replace mine for a while but I thought I remember reading somewhere that the Firebird boxes were different from the camaro boxes.
My 69 vert also has the variable ratio 1-finger steering and is starting to have a lot of play in it.
