I looked in the FAQ's and did a search, but could not find a procedure on how to properly set the timing on a 99% stock set up. I need to set the timing, vacuum, dwell and proper fuel mixture/ idle speed for my quadrajet. The only item I am aware of that is not stock to 1968 is I do not have a dual port vacuum advance on the distributer.

The service manual is not real clear either.

My car just does not seem to pull like it should. Seems sluggish. A 400 car should easily light the tires up for a good distance and it currently doesn't.

Maybe I just did not see it and someone can steer me to the right place?
