Anybody know of a Zone 01 dealer 196 in Portland, Maine? It is not on the Ultimate GTO site or info/sites Scott or others have posted.
All the historical zones discussion got me interested in expanding the history info I have on my '68.
My '68 was originally leased for 15 months by a company with HQs in Minneapolis, MN. (I've owned it since 4/69.)
The car was ordered and leased to them by Huber Pontiac in Springfield, Illinois - Zone 12 dealer code 332.
It left manufacture in Lordstown, Ohio on 1/29/68 for delivery to a dealer (unknown) in Portland, Maine – Zone 01, dealer code 196. (I assume the company employee using the vehicle was based there.)
The registration and plates was done in Minnesota. I have the original Mn 68 plates and a copy of the registration.
