Does he have the left pod rally gauges? If it's a true T/A it would have the rally gauges or tach in that pod. A hood tach was not available for the T/A. The only way to get the stacked gauges was to have the tach.
I think Classic Ind. has the stacked gauges. The Parts Place has the tach and stacked gauges as a combo sale.
