thanks so much dave for the info. I'm in san jose and I got a 68 project (believe me PROJECT) firebird a couple months ago and I'm trying to save money to fix it up (only 18)
well thats a lot of stuff to do just for that extra gear isnt it?!?! hehe do you know of a good place to come across the new yoke and/or shorten the shaft? how much do you think it will cost me?
