The first car I owned I bought from a salvage yard I worked at during one summer back when I was 15 it was a 72 ventura sprint with non running 400 engine ,candy green with white stripe for 250 bucks.By age 16 I had mcgyvered a 327 in it via chains and had nothing but problems. Have you ever seen the passenger side valvecover rest on the master cylinder? Chains didnt work so well back in 1982 but the 327 with dbl hump heads and solid lifter cam was cool.
