I have about $20K into my '69 now. If I properly strip and paint it and tend to aged mechanical systems, that'll bring it up to $35K or so.

The paint still looks fair at 27 years old, the top still looks good at 18 years old. Not perfect by any means, but serviceable and good enough for cruise night and show 'n' shine.
