If someone posts an April Fools joke, but everyone either figures it out or is playing along- is it still a joke?

Okay, okay, okay, I give up, you guys are just too sharp. Granted, not my best material. This was actually my "plan B" April Fools joke, hastily put together this morning. Plan A would have required advanced planning with fellow co-conspirators, which I just didn't have time for Also, I highly suspect at least one other person is already doing my "plan A".
