Hard to say which gap you are referring to, the one between the two windows or at the top, however the adjustment is under the sail panel, with the studs that hang the guide and so on. you have to l,oosen the locknuts, and play with the slotted stud in and out till you get the gap closed...also there is up and down movement in the regulator mounting.
