There were some pretty annoying issues with the 2005 Mustang that the 1st year owners were not happy about. The biggies were fuel tanks that would not completely fill (tank design changed) and the early Shaker 500 and 1000 radio units would not read MP3 recorded disks (head units redesigned).
Although that "tire weights on the brake calipers" is pretty tacky and would tick me off.
My father told me NEVER buy the 1st year of any new model. Yet I did it once (very 1st Toyota MR2 in '85) and it worked out OK.
