A few yrs ago, I was out in my 69, spent the evening at a friends, then drove home at 10 pm ,top dn,90 mph in left lane on the 3 lane freeway (I 10) ,elbow out the window , by the conc barrier, got home , went to bed, nxt morning got up installed a coupler of helper springs I had bought...drove up the block to see if I felt any difference...going about 5 mph over a speed bumop, crash....see pics., broken ball joint.
if that had happened 3 miles earlier = night before....I`d needed a new paint job , some sheet metal work and maybe a new elbow...luckily my buddy was only 2 mi away with his trailer...
