I went to replace the headlights on my 67 yesterday and found that the male connectors on the lamps are too short; what to do? Is the best thing to just remove some of the plastic cup on the wire harness that holds the female connectors? Also, I had this problem before the change out: The outboard driver's side lamp will work when on low, but when I switch to high beam only the inboard light comes on on that side. Both lights come on on the passenger side when highs are on. It is the same after switching to new Sylvania lights.
