Wow, I have not been around in a bit, log in today and see a thread on this. I recently installed the Pertronix III in my car. It works very well with one exception that I need to work out. At very low idle, it seems to want to stall. I think I need to reprogram it to be a few hundred RPM's higher.

Installation was a breeze and the only other thing I replaced besides the points system was the coil. The new one looks almost identical to stock with the exception of a sticker.
