Okay, I should have used the search function first! I found out that the receiver is different on the hoods - flatter on 67, more angled on 68 & 69. I will have to look at the car tomorrow to see what I have. If the latch does work (opens and closes) properly would it be safe to use even if the latch/receiver is not mated properly?
