These look to be 67 shakers, and look the same for Camaro and Firebird. the 68's differ from the 67's. I'm not sure, but I've heard that the Camaro/Firebird shakers were the same for all 3 years?
Not sure on the actual fluid, have heard many versions of that, but never heard the mercury one? ATF sounds more likely...
