That is the 4-wheel power disc brake conv. kit that I ordered. Supposedly it is 100% COMPLETE kit with anything and everything you need. We shall see...
As for the port & polish, it will end up about 1k. However, that does include a valve job and a few supposed "tricks". Plus, I had an old 702 Q-jet and an extra 68 Pontiac intake that I am trading in for some labor credit etc. So all in all it won't actually end up costing me much out of pocket. I figured this is my last chance to build a killer Pontiac so I am pulling out all the stops on this one.
Hopefully everything will come out as expected, time will tell...
This car should be a real sleeper from it's looks anyway. It will not sound like a sleeper as I am ordering the short branch manifolds for the H.O. cars from 67 alond with a 2-1/2" mandrel bent exhaust. I am not sure which mufflers I will use, I want something that truly sounds MEAN & NASTY! I had Flowmasters 40 series on the Bird for 10 years and always thought they were a bit quite, so this time I want something that just barks! Anyone have suggestions on mufflers?
