For those of you that remember me, I bought the '69 vert and picked it up last Wednesday (6/30/04).
Now I have a problem that I new about before I bought the car but I thought that we had fixed it. The car is originally a 350 HO that now is a 400 w/auto trans. When I went to look at the car it wouldn't start because the guys who looked at it the night before had turned the column on the steering wheel and then the car wouldn't start. When we got there we messed around with the column, fuses, etc because when you turned the key there was nothing, no click or anything. It was like the car was not in park. We ended up turning the column on the steering wheel all the way to the left where the key would go back to the lock postion and putting it in nuetral to push it the rest of the way into this guys garage. When we put it back into park it fired right up.
It started with no problems for about a day after I got it home, but now it's right back to where it was the day I looked at it and no matter what we try, it won't start.
