I have a 67 firebird that came with AC, but of course the AC is gone and the engine is different and what is left of the AC/Heater box is hacked up. You can see a picture of it here Heater Box

My goal for the car is to fix it up as a daily driver. I am not doing a complete restoration, and I don't want to spend a bunch of money trying to get the AC working right now. So my question is, what do you think I should do with it? I was thinking of just taking what is left of the box out and fabricating a cover or something for it. This means that there will be no heat or AC, but there aren't any now anyway. Is there something like this available? Or maybe I should just leave it alone. I figured I might as well do something with it since I had the fender off.
