Well I can tell you that my lever that operates the switch on my clutch pedal arm does not fit into a hole that I remember. It is as you describe except for that. Also there should be two purple wires(maybe 10ga) that run through it. Now that I think about it I know there is two wires but I'm not sure they both run through the switch. I'll get pics tomorrow.
