Yep, its official, me and my father are going off the deep end. We are looking at buying yet another firebird. atm we have a sprint 67 thats being torn down. so we are looking at a big V8 (400) for our second one.
We have not gone to look closley at it yet, but we are told its had the floors and rockers repaired, its about 80% away from being ready for paint.
He does not know what was in the car origanaly, nor if the hood is origianl or a replacment. It has 350 written where the 400 emblem should be. Some weird canadian quirk? He does know it used to be a 4 speed but now its an automatic. He does not know what engine is in the car now, he knows its not a pontiac or chevy engine. he does know that it is a 350 just not the make. Its a wide engine,thats about all he knows about it. And no PHS yet.
He claims it can be driven home.
It boils down to its a non numbers running car. If the metal is repiared well and in decent shape, what do you guys think it would be worth?
