Hey. I have a 67 firebird convertible and it has the standard AM radio. I would really like the hook up an ipod or atleast a CD/FM radio. When the car was bought the previous owner had a hackjob stereo speakers mounted ontop of the driveshaft column with a little radio unit but this was removed when we got the car partially restored. I see theres some units availible that completely replace the AM radio with a new unit with an mp3 compatible unit. But im on the wall about if i want to replace the original. Also im not sure if the single dash speaker would be enough to make it worth it. I dont know if there are any other alternatives like units that could mount under the dash on the passenger side that could either hook up to the main speaker or have its own speakers wired in (im not sure where). Anyways im sorry if im not making sense but id like to be able to cruise to some tunes this summer that arent radio disney am 640. Thanks so much guys. Heres some pics of the car.
