I had the engine rebuilt on my newly aquired '68 firebird and upgraded to a turbo 350 trans in place of the 2-speed that came in the car. The car is an original a/c car. I am slowly putting things back on the engine. My question is how is the oil dipstick tube that comes out of the block routed? Right now, it comes out under the exhaust manifold which I thought was correct but I can't get the dipstick to insert all the way in the tube. Does the tube go between the exhaust manifold and the head? I have both pieces of dipstick tube(in case you were wondering). Thanks in advance.
