Were 67s different than 68? Here is a shot of the upper tube on my 67 with A/C. Even though the tab is mangled, there is no way it will reach down to the rocker cover bolt. Maybe it attached somewhere to one of the (now missing) A/C compressor brackets?
Oh... from the Pontiac Information Manual (see PDF), maybe I have a tube from a different car?
