You are right. That is the std wheel. Most of the cars came with the 3 spoke 'deluxe' wheel. I never owned a bird with a 2 spke wheel as I mentioned. I would restore that one using that wheel guy, or I would buy a wood repop from Ames, they are nice looking jobbies. My 69 GTO original deluxe wheel is in my basement, almost as nice as new, since back in 1987 I replaced it with a wood (fake wood as we all know) wheel and drive it to this day with the wood wheel. There are many nice black wheels out there, but when you start trying to get the colored ones, rarity catches up with the restorer. It is really hard to get a colored wheel in great shape of ANY type from that era. I myself need a 67-68 turquoise wheel for a 68 GTO I own. Lotsa luck to you and me.
1969 Firebird 350 Coupe, Rust free Texas body, formerly brown, now a TA clone with quality spoiler, latching hood and TA wheel; 1969 GTO Convertible Expresso Brown/Parchment(currently painted red). Both numbers matching. My first love was a Cameo White 67 326 Coupe, bought back in 1983, at the age of 17, for $1,200. Been hooked since on PONTIAC! Working on a 67 400 ragtop for customization-Gulf Turquoise/Parchment/400/4 spd! My winter project!
