.67 is one hell of an OD, I can see why it would hunt around town. But a perfect set up for highway use.
The manual shift into OD wouldn't be much of a problem.
2.74 and a 3.55 should get off the line pretty good as well.

I run all straight drives but Autogear now offers an M-21 with 2.19 first and .86 4th, might have to investigate that for use in my 4.11 rear car.
