Smog pump: I can help a little as my car had one and it's not going back on. But I have not completed that operation yet.
Removal of the pump and hoses is easy. I suspect that we will need different fan belts to eliminate the pump from the system. You will have to remove the cast aluminum bracket from in front of the RH cylinder head. The LH bracket also supports the PS pump and alternator so it needs to stay. Luckily that bracket was the same whether the car came with a smog pump or not.
Finally, you will need to install the freeze plugs on the front of both cylinder heads that lead to the exhaust passages that the smog pump blew air through.
