I tried to get my boot on again last night without success. Do these thing SHRINK?
It always fit extremely tight, but I couldn't even get it to clip on last night.... and it's pulling the chrome strip off
I just got off the phone from ordering a new PUI boot. I'll have to repair the chrome strip and I hope this one fits!
(I've tried leaving my old boot in the sun to allow for "stretching, but no luck)
The well trim should be screwed down underneath and on the ends. There should be no way for it to come off. I think I have some pics of this if you want them.
I have a PUI boot and it is also extremely tight. Looks to be a very good high quality material. I got all but a few of the outside corners to clip down. I tried like hell to pull it down and a few of the plastic parts pulled out of the metal clip thingy on the boot.
After I let it bake in a sun when it was 90 deg I was able to pull and stretch the corners by running my hand over the boot in the direction I was trying to get to and successful got it clipped. I have not taken it off since. I have left it on now about 1 month. Kinda looks like a set of DD in junior button up blouse.
I had issues with it billowing out tooso I tucked the front behind the bake seat
