Finally remembered to take my camera over to take some photos of my new Bird. I picked it up off of eBay a few weeks ago after finding out my '67 convertible had serious rust issues. Luckily, I sold that car to someone who was looking for a project. Thanks again to all of you for your advice.
Expect to see me asking a lot of questions over the next couple of months. I'm a little disappointed by the alignment of the front end panels, but I think I can fix it. As you can see in the photos, the hood sits high on the drivers side. Oddly, it seems to match up at the rear of the fender and on the passenger side. The gaps are a little off between the fender and hood as well. The passenger side fender seems to line up well all the way around. Other than that and a few other small touches I'll be adding, I'm very happy. I've got a set of Rally Gages and a fold-down rear seat (thanks Firebob!) to install and I'll be upgrading to four-wheel power disc brakes as soon as funds allow.
