But, where do they go? There are only two holes and they are being used by the metal clips on your car and mine.
Here's a closeup of just the driver's side. You don't have the hole the strap is pushed into?
There you go! We're gettin' somewhere! I only have one hole on each end of the crossmember. I sandblasted the subframe, so I'm pretty sure there isn't another hole next to the metal clip.
That's why nothing was making sense. With only two holes to work with, I couldn't figure out why the manual shows clips and straps in what appeared to be the same locations. So, I can assume there are two holes on the pass side too?
