1969 PONTIAC FIREBIRD CONVERTIBLE. THIS IS A PROJECT CAR WITH CLEAR TEXAS TITLE IN-HAND. IT IS A 400 4 BBL. W/AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. IT IS CORRECT BUT NON-NUMBERS MATCHING.
ENGINE CODES ARE AS FOLLOWS: FRONT PASSENGER SIDE BLOCK STAMP "YS". CODE STAMPED ABOVE "YS" ON FRONT OF BLOCK IS "0234150". STAMP ON EXHAUST PORTS APPEARS TO READ "5C". APPROXIMATELY 6" BELOW THE YS ON THE FRONT OF THE BLOCK, THE ENGINE IS STAMPED "25N536556". THE STAMP ON THE TOP OF THE BLOCK IN THE BACK AND IN THE REAR BENEATH THE DISTRIBUTOR IS "A225". FINALLY, ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE BLOCK NEAR THE FIREWALL, THE ENGINE IS STAMPED "880181".
AS FOR THE BODY. THIS CAR WILL REQUIRE FULL RESTORATION. IT IS ALL THERE (EXCEPT FOR 1 GRILL INSERT) BUT MOST METAL SURFACES WILL HAVE TO BE REPAIRD OR REPLACED. FLOOR AND TRUNK PANS ARE ROTTED, BOTTOM OF FENDERS AND QUARTERS HAVE VARYING DEGREES OF RUST PENETRATION AS DO ROCKERS. REAR DECK LID AND TAIL SECTION WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED.
