excellant heads!! if you want to know what year the block is, pull the distributor and look for a stamping tword the drivers side of the dist. hole. it will be a letter and 2 or 3 numbers. the first letter is the month a= january b = feb c = march ect. the center number or two is the day of the month, and the final digit is the year. but beibg that it is only one number, you have to guess what year. if it is a 7 , that means it is either a 67 or 77 block.
