He didnt claim it was original...just that it was a desirable option...the seller knows very little about Firebirds and admits that. All he knows is that he paid 13k for a well running classic muscle car. The car was restored to be a good looking driver. I also noticed there are firebird emblems on the rear quarter panels...it looks like the same emblem on the front fenders. Not sure what thats all about. Like I said, when I hear back from the seller I'm gonna ask a bunch of questions and get some more info...if I can convince him to come down into my price range (7k-10k) I'll make the trip to see the car and give it a good mechanical check. At this point, 12K seems to be a bit too much for this car.
