So I found a nice aftermarket pair of grilles painted the correct charcoal (argent) color for 68's. Heres a shot of one side (original repainted on top, new on bottom).
I bought OER hockey sticks and they seem to be very nice quality. Bumpers should be ready next weekend, then the real test.
